Carbon Capture
Enabling a successful energy transition
Carbon Capture, Utilisation & Storage (CCUS) represents a critical strategy for addressing climate change, enabling significant reductions in greenhouse gas emissions and supporting traditional industrial processes to transition to a renewable future.
Carbon Capture also presents a significant opportunity for the development of low carbon fuels through its utilisation in creating sustainable hydrocarbons.
CCUS involves capturing CO₂ emissions at their source, such as power plants or industrial facilities. Captured carbon can either be converted into products like synthetic fuels and chemicals, or transported and stored in existing Oil & Gas underground reservoirs.
PDS work with major energy providers and developers to identify potential CCUS schemes, bringing together range of stakeholders to help develop concepts, support planning and delivery through to completion. Our experience in the development and execution of petrochemical plants and refineries allows us to support clients from concept initiation to plant start-up.
